Portal
This
client, based in Japan, wanted to build a portal site with over 1000
pages all about Japan.
The challenge here for us, given that we were not designing the site, was co-ordinating all the content in such a way that it would not only be interesting to the site visitor to read and even be sticky, but also to plan the delivery of such content in harmony with the design of the site: its navigation, inter-linking categories, use of imagery in relation to content and placing of related keywords, making it an easy and enjoyable site to get around and divulge information.
This meant working very closely with the team at Ioix, in Tokyo which
was a hugely enjoyable experience for us at WC.
